About the hotel

Located in Medina’s Al Haram central district, Mokhtara Almasi offers pilgrims a prime location just 4–6 minutes (approx. 380 meters) from the Prophet’s Mosque. This close proximity makes attending all five daily prayers easy and convenient—no need for taxis or long walks. Ideal for travelers who prioritize location and affordability, the hotel provides a simple, value-focused stay. While the area is busy and lacks on-site parking, the convenience of being steps from the mosque is a major benefit. If you're driving or prefer a quieter setting, consider alternatives. The hotel features around 80 clean, functional rooms equipped with air conditioning, private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and free WiFi. Though it doesn’t offer suites or kitchen facilities, guests appreciate its comfort and simplicity—perfect for a spiritually focused visit. Situated on Abu Ayyub Al Ansari Street, the hotel is surrounded by shops, eateries, and fellow pilgrims. Walking is the best way to get around nearby. The Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport (MED) is a 20–30 minute drive, but rideshare pickups may require walking a few blocks due to traffic and road closures. Parking is not available on-site, and nearby garages can be full and costly during peak seasons. In addition to the mosque, you’re within walking distance of the Beautiful Names of Allah Gallery (2 mins) and the Koran Museum (8 mins). Quba Mosque is a short taxi ride away. Rooms are in high demand, especially during peak travel periods. Booking early is recommended. Check rates and availability to secure your stay—flexible cancellation options may be available.
