Terms of service
Last updated: 2 June 2026
These terms (the "Terms") govern your use of the HotHotels website (the "Site"), our mobile applications, and any related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, creating an account or making a booking you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Hot Group Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ; trading as HotHotels). Where these Terms refer to "HotHotels", "we", "us" or "our", they refer to that company.
2. Our role
HotHotels is an online travel agent. We display hotel inventory and rates supplied to us by third-party wholesale partners (each a "Supplier") and pass your booking through to the relevant Supplier and then on to the hotel itself. We do not own, operate, or directly contract with the hotels listed on the Site.
When you complete a booking, you enter into a binding contract with the relevant Supplier and hotel for the stay. HotHotels acts as the booking intermediary and handles payment on the hotel's behalf, but is not the contracting party for the stay itself. The hotel's own check-in policies, house rules, and terms of stay apply throughout your visit.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to make a booking. If you book on behalf of others, you confirm that you have authority to do so and that they accept these Terms.
4. Booking process
When you submit a booking, the price, room type, dates, cancellation policy and any rate-specific notes shown at the moment of confirmation form the binding terms of your booking. Final confirmation is signalled by:
- The on-screen confirmation page showing your booking reference (in the form
HH-XXXXXX); and - A confirmation email to the address you provided, including your supplier reference.
If you do not receive both within an hour, please contact support@hothotels.co with your reference. Bookings are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or made in error.
5. Pricing and payment
All prices shown are in the currency selected and include applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated. Prices may change at any time before booking — the price you confirm at the moment of payment is the price that applies to your booking.
Payment is taken at the time of booking by our third-party payment processor. Card details are not stored on our servers. By making a booking you authorise the charge against the payment method you provide and confirm you are the legitimate cardholder.
6. Cancellation, modification and refunds
The cancellation policy attached to your rate at the moment of booking is the policy that applies. We display the policy verbatim from the Supplier on the rate selection screen, the confirmation page and the confirmation email — please read it before confirming. Most rates fall into one of three categories:
- Free cancellation until a stated deadline — full refund if cancelled before the deadline, no refund after.
- Partial — full refund up to a stated date, then a defined fee.
- Non-refundable — no refund after booking is confirmed.
You can cancel or modify your booking at any time from the manage booking page. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days. We never issue a refund unless the Supplier has confirmed the cancellation; if the Supplier rejects a cancellation, we will follow up with you within 24 hours.
7. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that takes place under your account. Notify us immediately at support@hothotels.co if you suspect unauthorised access.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to make speculative, false or fraudulent bookings.
- Scrape, copy, resell or redistribute Site content (including hotel listings, photos and rates) without our prior written consent.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Service or interfere with its operation.
9. Intellectual property
The Site, its design, the HotHotels brand and the underlying software are owned by Hot Group Holdings Ltd or its licensors. All hotel content (photos, descriptions, addresses) is supplied by our Suppliers or the hotels themselves and remains the property of those parties.
10. Liability
HotHotels acts only as a booking intermediary. We are not responsible for the accommodation provided by the hotel, the conduct of hotel staff, or any loss, damage or injury arising during your stay. Our maximum liability to you in connection with any single booking is limited to the total amount paid by you for that booking.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by our negligence and your statutory rights as a consumer in the United Kingdom).
11. Travel documents and entry requirements
You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents and any visas, vaccinations or permits required for entry to the country in which the hotel is located. We are not liable for any loss arising from your inability to travel for these reasons.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure in performing our obligations to the extent that the cause is outside our reasonable control — including (without limitation) natural disasters, government action, pandemic, war, civil unrest, supplier system outages or strikes.
13. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service, save that if you are a consumer you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you are habitually resident.
Before taking legal action please contact support@hothotels.co — most issues can be resolved quickly. UK consumers may also use the Competition and Markets Authority.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect on the "Last updated" date shown above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site and, where possible, communicated by email to active customers. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Special requests and accuracy of content
Special requests (such as a high floor, a particular bed type or an early check-in) are passed to the hotel but cannot be guaranteed, and do not form part of your booking contract. We take care to display hotel content, photographs and rates accurately, but this information is supplied by our Suppliers and the hotels themselves, and we are not liable for errors or omissions in it. Where an obvious pricing error occurs, we may cancel the affected booking and offer you a full refund.
16. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business. These Terms, together with our Privacy and Cookie policies, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
