About the hotel

Dating back to 1906, this historic luxury hotel sits on Alexandria’s waterfront, offering panoramic Corniche views from its rooftop breakfast terrace. Each elegant room features hand-decorated high ceilings and modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs with private satellite offering a thousand channels and free Wi-Fi. Light snacks and refreshments are available at the open-air Prince Charles Café with sea views, while the antique and fresco-adorned Queen Elizabeth Hall offers fine dining and an extensive wine selection. Guests can also enjoy à la carte cuisine at the Blue Harbor café & restaurant and experience unforgettable DJ nights at the Skyroof Club Lounge. Ideally located in the city’s social and cultural hub, the hotel is near several street cafés, shopping boutiques, and seaside promenades. While the hotel itself lacks a swimming pool and private beach, guests have paid access to these amenities at the nearby Paradise Inn Beach Resort, part of the same hotel group. The 24-hour front desk can arrange car rentals, dry cleaning services, and provide recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The hotel is a short 2-minute walk from El Raml Train Station and the sandy beaches. The Library of Alexandria and Constantine Cavafy’s home are less than a mile away.
