About the hotel

This hotel is set in its own park and enjoys a secluded location, yet is only a stone's throw from the historic centre of Gubbio. Shopping venues are approximately 500 from the hotel and night owls can head to the nearest nightspots, which are some 800 m from the hotel. The bus station is around 500 m from the hotel, and the railway station is some 20 minutes away by car. Sant Egidio Airport is 40 km and Falconara Airport 90 km away respectively, while Rome's Fiumicino Airport is some 230 km from the establishment. The hotel is a 17th-century monastery that has been cleverly restored. This marvellous building and the religious communities that lived here since the monastery was built are part of the history of Gubbio which is in the heart of Umbria, a bright jewel immersed in greenery. Its stones and architecture are amongst the highest testimonies of a marvellous, refined and cultured medieval age. Secluded even though it is very near to the centre of the city, today the establishment is a structure that unites antique environments and new comforts in a happy and balanced way. Featuring a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom and lift access, facilities available to guests at this air-conditioned, 95-room, family-friendly spa hotel include a café, hairdressing salon, bar, games room, TV lounge and restaurants. Business guests will be able to take advantage of the conference facilities and WLAN Internet access (extra charges apply), and room and laundry services are available for a fee. A cycle hire station is on site, and guests arriving by car can use the hotel's parking spaces and garage parking facilities.
