About the hotel

Just two minutes from the railway station, Best Western Plus Hotel Colbert is housed in the refurbished buildings of the Tobacco Factory, which contributed to the growth of Chateauroux in the 19th century. Take your family to visit the Bertrand and Cordeliers museums, where contemporary exhibitions will give you an insight into art and the past. For a refreshing taste of nature, make the most of the extensive grounds which surround Chateauroux and the lake of Belle-Isle to the north of the town, where you can swim and enjoy a variety of water sports. The Best Western Plus Hotel Colbert is the ideal place for your business meetings and holiday breaks. The 74 air-conditioned rooms and suites with designer decor offer the very latest in comfort, technology and services: satellite TV, Canal +, free Wi-Fi Internet connection, flat screen, direct telephone line and minibar. Here you can relax and unwind before making your way to our restaurant, 'La Manufacture', whose cuisine is centred around three basic elements - 'le pain, le vin et la broche' (bread, wine and the spit-roast) - and where a wide variety of wines are served by the glass. Two soundproofed lounges are available for group events of up to 100 people.
