Lough Eske Castle is renowned for the best of Donegal hospitality. The new whiskey cellar showcases Donegal’s unique whiskeys with bespoke tasting experiences. CARA Organic and Spa is situated in the serene walled castle gardens and features thermal suite including an ice fountain, sauna, steam room, sanarium, tropical experience showers, heated bench, jaccuzi and massage suites, including a couples suite. There is a fitness centre and swimming pool which is located in a glass atrium, offering views over the grounds. Recently added to the wall gardens by the Spa are newly installed outdoor hot tubs. All guests are welcome to enjoy complimentary history tours, taking place 11am daily, complimentary use of the guest bicycles, and access to the swimming pool and gym. For those looking to explore the surrounding area, guests can fish on Lough Eske, less than 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel, while Donegal Town is less than a 10-minute drive. Donegal Golf Club, links golf course, is a 15-minute drive, and Donegal Adventure Centre and Surf School is a 30-minute drive.
