About the hotel

Experience a luxury retreat that delights all senses at Kyu Karuizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton. Nestled amid lush grounds in the mountain village of Karuizawa, just an hour outside Tokyo, our hotel inspires with its peaceful ambience and genuine ‘omotenashi' hospitality. Japanese architect Yukio Hashimoto lends his designer touch to our guest rooms, featuring a seating area with sofa, a 50-inch HDTV and complimentary WiFi. Many rooms also have a balcony – perfect for enjoying the sun's warmth, a breeze or even some birdwatching. Choose a deluxe room for extra space and amenities. Take in views of the beautiful courtyard while savoring breakfast, a casual lunch or French fusion cuisine at our restaurant, Sonorite. The lounge is a tranquil place for light snacks and specialty coffee, and we're pleased to offer in-room dining each morning ‘til night. Indulge at the spa and sauna and breathe in the enticing hinoki at our traditional Japanese public bath. The fitness center offers modern equipment and an inspired setting for productive workouts. Plan a meeting in your choice of three versatile banquet rooms or gather with loved ones in the chapel for an intimate wedding ceremony.
