Its location makes it a perfect base for conferences or holidays in the beautiful natural surroundings. The hotel is located in Oppdal city centre, 545 metres above sea level, surrounded by the mountainous Trollheim area and Dovre national park. From the hotel, it's just a short distance to the bus and train station, and right outside the hotel doors you'll find a mall, restaurants, a library, an arts centre with a cinema, a swimming hall, and much more. To get to the hotel, take a bus or train to Oppdal Skysstasjon. The nearest airport is Trondheim Værnes Airport, which is about 2 hours away by car. The hotel has many room types - most with views of the mountains - ranging from double rooms and family rooms to suites and also disability-accessible rooms. The hotel's characteristic facade is built with local slate, and this special stone is used also in the interior. The hotel's conference area has capacity for large groups with a good number of flexible meeting spaces, and is equally suitable for board meetings as for larger gatherings, kickoffs, or private parties. You will enjoy personalised assistance, modern technical equipment and be a short distance to wonderful outdoor environments with miles of carefully maintained cross-country skiing tracks during the winter, and a host of hiking and cycling paths in the summer. There are also opportunities for curling, golf, fishing, musk ox watching, and rafting, and more.
