About the hotel

Our guests choose our property because of our proximity to the University of California Davis, Mondavi Center, UC Davis Arboretum, Davis Farmers Market, Explorit Science Center, Davis Art Center, Amtrack Train, and the International House. We offer a unique combination of a top location, service, and quality. In the heart of downtown Davis, CA, you can walk to many of the best shops, restaurants, and nightlife hot spots. We are a boutique hotel in a busy and beautiful downtown area that lets you enjoy the best of sunny California. The US Bicycling Hall of Fame is located near our Davis hotel and is a must-see for cycling enthusiasts. Stop by the Hattie Weber Museum and Old Sugar Mill Winery for a real treat. Even if you're here for work with HM Clause, DMG/Mori Seiki, the Robert Mondavi Performing Arts Center, or the Mondavi Institute of Food and Wine, there's plenty of time to duck away and explore the finer things in Davis, especially since our property makes your commute so fast. We specialize in extended stays or simply shorter visits for those who prefer a little more space to relax. A quaint, picturesque downtown provides the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating getaway. Close to the university, many of our guests are here for a special event such as graduation, UC Davis Picnic Day, Whole Earth Festival, homecoming, or move-in weekend. We also offer luxurious suites to visiting professors who need a home away from home for a semester. Wineries surround our Davis hotel, and our friendly staff members are happy to provide recommendations on the best tasting rooms. Cycling and running events such as the Davis Stampede, Davis Music Festival, and California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art bring many outdoor lovers to the Best Western Plus Palm Court Hotel.
