About the hotel

Perfectly positioned where Venice begins, Hotel Santa Chiara stands as the city's most strategically located property — right on Piazzale Roma, the only car-accessible point in the historic centre, and just steps from Santa Lucia Train Station, the ferry terminals, and the airport coach stop. What truly sets this hotel apart is a combination of advantages found nowhere else in Venice: it is the only hotel in the city with its own private parking — an extraordinary convenience for self-drive travellers and groups arriving by train. No bridges, no narrow calli with luggage. Just a seamless, stress-free arrival straight to the heart of La Serenissima. Every guest room offers a view worth waking up for — choose from Grand Canal panoramas, charming small canal vistas, or elegant city views — all in rooms thoughtfully designed in classic Venetian style with modern comforts including soundproofing, air conditioning, and premium facilities. Breakfast at Hotel Santa Chiara is an experience in itself: served with direct views over the Grand Canal, it transforms the most important meal of the day into an iconic Venetian moment. San Marco Square is reachable on foot or by a short vaporetto ride — with the water bus stop virtually at the hotel's entrance.
