About the hotel

This stately home hotel in Cheshire offers a blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. Located approximately 52 km from Manchester Airport, it's surrounded by quaint villages steeped in history, many predating the Norman Conquest. The hotel is also conveniently situated for exploring Chester, Chester Zoo, and Alton Towers. The 117-room hotel, including historic suites, features a 24-hour reception, currency exchange, and dining options like the brasserie with its unique revolving bar. Recently, a £13. 5 million investment enhanced the 17th-century hall with a dedicated Events Centre and a Health, Fitness, and Spa, complete with a Technogym, spa treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, hot tub, and an 18m indoor heated pool. A 3. 5-acre outdoor Events Field within a walled garden provides space for team-building activities. Guest rooms and suites include en suite bathrooms, hairdryers, direct-dial telephones, satellite/cable TV, internet access, radios, and central heating.
