About the hotel

Arena Ipanema embodies the Rio lifestyle, combining the welcoming comfort of its 136 guest rooms with the laid-back energy that defines an authentic trip to Rio, immersed in the atmosphere of the beachfront and the essence of the city. With a rooftop designed for relaxing while admiring the ocean, the hotel is the perfect choice for those who want to fully experience the surrounding atmosphere, always just steps away from the sand. With a unique identity dedicated to authentic Spanish haute cuisine, Otaviano Restaurant offers a true immersion into Spanish flavors through classics such as paellas, tapas, and traditional desserts prepared with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) ingredients. The restaurant holds the international “Restaurants from Spain” certification granted by ICEX, ensuring a culinary experience that remains rigorously faithful to its roots. Designed to host everything from workshops to corporate meetings, the hotel features three functional meeting rooms: Arpoador (with ocean views), Ipanema, and Leblon. To conclude a business day or host an exclusive social event, the Viva Rooftop and the Upper Pool provide an open-air setting with one of the city’s most exclusive views: the meeting point between Ipanema Beach and Arpoador. *Reservations without the name of the guests made as a block will not be accepted, and can be freely canceled by the hotel Group Bookings: We consider from 10 rooms. If we identify these reservations, even if separated, they will be subject to cancellation by the hotel, and application of different conditions. **The bar, pool, sauna and general area of the rooftop will be closed on December 31st due to preparations for the New Year's Eve party that will take place in the evening, access to which will be exclusive to guests who purchase a ticket for the rooftop party.
