About the hotel

Set in the Higashiyama Onsen area, Irorinoyado Ashina is a traditional 4-star ryokan housed in a relocated 120-year-old folk house. The experience centres around a traditional sunken hearth, known as an *irori*, where guests gather for meals. The ryokan offers local Kaiseki cuisine, featuring ingredients sourced from area farmers and the property's own vegetable field. Guests can relax in the indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, which use free-flowing natural spring water and can be reserved for private use. Accommodation consists of Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, air conditioning, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Select rooms offer mountain views. The property provides free on-site parking and is located 5. 3 km from Aizuwakamatsu Station.
