About the hotel

This is a hotel for those in search of inspiration in Porto, where everything feels effortlessly perfect. Literature sets the tone – each room, suite, and apartment pays tribute to Portugal’s illustrious writers and poets, offering a timeless narrative into your stay. The exceptional buildings, now home to Torel Palace Porto, hold significant historical value. A twist of fate turned this architectural landmark into a literary-inspired retreat, where the beautiful facade, magnificent skylight, and intricate stucco ceilings create a story for the ages. The plot thickens with 24 rooms and suites, an outside pool, and two distinct dining options: Florbela Pâtisserie and MICHELIN Star restaurant BLIND. But it’s not just elegant interiors and delicious food – it’s like a classic read. Right across the street, our new building reveals a new chapter with 18 unique apartments – a perfect extension to your story. Located on Rua de Entreparedes, we’re here to cater to your every need, ensuring you’ll return time after time. Torel Palace Porto was awarded 1 MICHELIN Key in the first official selection in Portugal, recognizing its dedication to excellence, personalized service, and the art of hospitality.
