About the hotel

Penzión & Wellness Zoborská stands at the foot of Zobor hill on the quiet side of Nitra, and the same family has run it since 1996. Four stars, twelve rooms, and a team that still greets most guests by name. Six rooms have a king-size bed and five have separate beds; each is about 19 m². The Deluxe room is 35 m². Every room has air conditioning, a Smart TV, a minibar, a safe, a kettle and a coffee machine, a hairdryer, a bathrobe and slippers, and a desk with a socket beside it. Wi-fi is free, runs on a 1000 Mbit/s fibre line and holds a video call without blinking. Breakfast is included for every guest. It is a full buffet with warm dishes, eggs cooked to order, fresh bread every morning, smoked salmon and seasonal fruit, served from 7:00 to 10:00 on weekdays and from 8:00 at weekends, and earlier if you tell us the evening before. Our own car park has 42 spaces, is fenced and costs nothing. The spa is two floors below reception: Finnish, herbal, steam and infrared saunas, a whirlpool, a Kneipp foot bath, heated loungers and a quiet room. It is paid separately and is not part of the room rate. In July and August it is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. The restaurant is one floor below. Reception is open 6:00-22:00 on weekdays and 7:00-22:00 at weekends. Arriving later is no trouble: we hand the key over through a key box, and you can always call us and we will wait for you. The turn-off to the Jaguar Land Rover plant is 5 km away, about six minutes by car; Nitra Castle is 2. 1 km. We invoice companies, quote rates for longer stays, do laundry on request, and keep a locked bicycle room with tools and a pump.
