About the hotel

Comfort Hotel™ Fosna is centrally located in the island city of Kristiansund, with the bus station and the harbour just around the corner. Enjoy a great stay with comfortable accommodation, and a convenient Barception where you can relax with a bite to eat! Visit the Norwegian Clipfish Museum, relish lovely views from Varden and end the day with a meal at one of the city's many fish restaurants. The hotel is centrally located right in the heart of Kristiansund, with the harbour and the bus station at Torget just a stone's throw from the hotel, and Kristiansund Airport Kvernberget less than 15 minutes' drive away. The city is spread over four islands – Kirkelandet, Innlandet, Nordlandet and Gomalandet – and it's easy to get around on the Sundbåten boats. This beautiful coastal town is well-known for its clipfish, a kind of salted cod, and you can learn all about it at the Norwegian Clipfish Museum on the Milnbrygga wharf. We also recommend you to visit one of the many fish restaurants near the hotel for a memorable dining experience! Kristiansund's stunning natural surroundings make the city and the hotel an ideal stop along the Atlantic Ocean Road, regardless of whether you're travelling by car or on a Hurtigruten cruise ship. There are lots of hiking trails all around the city, such as Havstien, and you can get some great views of the local surroundings from Varden, Freikollen and Bremsneshatten. The hotel's Barception provides a convenient place to check in, hang out with friends and grab a bite to eat whenever you like! We have a number of different rooms, providing comfortable accommodation for couples, families and groups of friends. The hotel has a partnership with a gym just next door, so you can enjoy a great workout even when you're out travelling! For those arriving by car, there are parking facilities just outside the hotel (fees apply). You'll find everything you need here – and for a great price too!
